Dear Reader,

It’s still possible to experience some burning, even while taking Pan 40, especially if acidity is severe, hasn’t fully settled yet, or certain foods/lifestyle factors are triggering it again. It doesn’t always mean the medicine has stopped working, but it may mean your body needs a little more time or a slight change in the treatment plan.

Never take pantoprazole tablets for longer than prescribed, as unregulated use may affect gut health and absorption of various nutrients.

A few things you can try meanwhile:

  • Avoid long gaps between meals
  • Reduce spicy, oily, or very acidic foods.
  • Don’t lie down immediately after eating
  • Keep dinner light and early if possible

If you’ve already been taking this medication correctly (on an empty stomach, every morning) for 1–2 weeks and still experience frequent burning, it’s best to speak with your doctor. They might adjust the dose, add another medicine for short-term relief, or check for other causes, such as reflux or gastritis.

If your symptoms worsen suddenly or you feel severe chest pain, breathing trouble, or vomiting, seek medical attention right away.

Wishing you good health.
