I have dry curly hair and dandruff and redness near scalp area is it advisable to use 8X shampoo

I have redness  on on side around my scalp area behind the ear area and my scalp is dry and I have dandruff is 8x shampoo advisable to use for my scalp and how often should I use it if I can ?
